Nicole Seligman, Ph.D.
Dr. Seligman specializes in providing Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) to children, teens and adults.
Her therapy applies to mood, anxiety, and obsessive-compulsive disorders and complex comorbid presentations, including trauma-related and personality disorders.
She also has expertise in Exposure/Response Prevention (E/RP) and Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT) for OCD. Dr. Seligman has expertise in providing Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT) treatment for both children and adults struggling with emotion regulation, distress tolerance, and interpersonal difficulties. She is trained to provide evidence-based therapy for trauma, including prolonged exposure and cognitive processing therapy.
Dr. Seligman holds an Authority to Practice Interjurisdictional Telepsychology (APIT) license and is able to see patients in 42 PSYPACT participating states via teletherapy.
EDUCATION & TRAINING
Dr. Seligman received her Ph.D. in Clinical Psychology from Fordham University, NY. Additionally, she has extensive experience providing evidence-based treatment in a wide-range of multidisciplinary settings, including public and private hospitals, universities, private practices, and Veteran Affairs.
