Lauren Faust, Psy.D.

Dr. Faust has expertise in working with individuals across the lifespan, from ages 5-years to late adulthood.

She has extensive experience in the treatment of OCD and anxiety disorders, trauma-related disorders, depression, grief, school avoidance, ADHD, and autism. Dr. Faust uses an eclectic approach to tailor treatment to each individual with specialization in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Exposure/Response Prevention (E/RP), as well as Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Habit Reversal Training, Prolonged Exposure, and Motivational Interviewing. In addition to working with individuals, Dr. Faust works with families and parents, including parent coaching for anxiety and ADHD. 

Dr. Faust holds an Authority to Practice Interjurisdictional Telepsychology (APIT) license and is able to see patients in PSYPACT participating states via teletherapy. 

EDUCATION & TRAINING

Dr. Faust is a graduate of Indiana University with degrees in psychology and neuroscience. She received her M.A. from American University and earned an M.S. and Psy.D. from Philadelphia College of Osteopathic Medicine. In addition to clinical psychology, Dr. Faust has a background in neuropsychology, health psychology, and research and received training at the Center for Brief Therapy, Nemours Children’s Hospital, and Lankenau Medical Center. She has previously worked at the University of Pennsylvania, Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia, Larue D. Carter Memorial Hospital, and the Child Guidance Resource Center.
