AATC Supports the Annual One Million Steps for OCD Walk

It was a beautiful fall day at Norristown State Park for this year’s annual One Million Steps for OCD Walk! AATC was proud to be part of this meaningful event once again, contributing to its success, hosting a table, and joining the walk. Supporting this annual event reflects our ongoing commitment to the OCD community and to raising awareness for individuals and families affected by Obsessive-Compulsive Disorder (OCD). Our team enjoyed walking together, reconnecting with familiar faces, and meeting new friends. It was a wonderful day filled with connection, community, and a shared commitment to supporting those impacted by OCD.

The annual One Million Steps for OCD Walk is about so much more than the steps we walk. It brings together individuals, families, clinicians, and advocates to share their experiences, build meaningful connections, and remind those navigating OCD that they are not alone on their journey toward recovery. Events like these help reduce stigma, increase understanding, and strengthen the community surrounding those affected by OCD.

Organized in support of the International OCD Foundation (IOCDF), the One Million Steps for OCD Walk is a major annual fundraising initiative that helps advance OCD awareness, education, advocacy, and access to resources. AATC is proud to contribute to these efforts and stand alongside those working to improve the lives of individuals and families affected by OCD.

At AATC, we believe that building awareness and fostering a supportive community are important parts of helping people feel understood and encouraged to seek care. We are grateful to be part of the OCD community and look forward to continuing our participation and support of the One Million Steps for OCD Walk each year.

Thank you to everyone who walked, donated, shared their stories, and helped make this year’s event so meaningful! We are proud to stand with the OCD community and continue moving forward together, one step at a time.
